On Lifelong Learning
The quest for knowledge doesn’t stop when someone hands you a slip of paper at a ceremony. Nor does it cease when you hit the golden years of retirement.
Learning is a mindset. A journey that takes new forms at each stage in your life. When one victory is achieved, the next battle awaits in the distance.
Will you be prepared? Do you have a system?
The sharpest minds always remain curious. They belong to humans that experiment and understand the underlying systems.
We must be processed focused and not settle for hearsay. Creative work is our output and we only consume content to understand.
In fact, just about everything we consume (books, tv, etc.) is with the intention of getting something out of the material that will help us. It’s all out there. We just need to know where to find it.
Chances are it’s not hiding in our Instagram Feed or waiting for us in Snapchat. The best gems are buried in the rock and waiting for someone willing to put in the effort knowing the reward is not a sure thing.
If it were easy to find the gems then everyone would be rich, right?
Start living your life as a scientist. Be curious. Always be on the quest for knowledge.
